Obituary For Dorothy Zare

Age 96, on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, of Baldwin.

Beloved wife of the late Walter J. Zare; daughter of Walter and Marie (Wawzyniak) Wszelaki; sister of Joan L. (the late Paul) Cunningham, and the late Eleanor Selasky, Marianne (Henry) Saternos, Walter (Florence) Wszelaki and Robert Wszelaki; aunt of Paula (Scott) Kennedy, Brian Cunningham, Barb (Michael) Jones and the late Kenneth Cunningham; great-aunt of Lauren (Drew) Kennedy Little and Ann L. Kennedy (Zachary Beech). Family and close friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, August 14, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of her funeral prayer at 11:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Germaine Church at 12:30 p.m. Due to the current public health crisis, masks and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to. If desired, family suggests contributions to the charity of your choice in Dorothy's memory.
