Voigt, Douglas E. L. Age 61, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Friday, September 28, 2018, of Whitehall.

Dearly beloved husband of Maureen (O'Malley) and father of Nicholas; son of Neil Voigt (Rosemary Mills) and the late Lois (Bauer) Voigt; brother of Beverly, Doreen (Rick) Buechel, Kenneth, Susan (Randy) Miskanic, Deanne (Joyce Wilhelm), Alice, Karla, and Elaine (Jody) Boyle; son-in-law of Robert and the late Shirley O'Malley; brother-in-law of Susan Goodwin, Cathy (John) Gartside, and Bob O'Malley. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Doug will be remembered by all who knew him for his kindness, thoughtfulness, sharp mind, and quick wit. Our protector and defender. Gone too soon. He will be missed always. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm where a Blessing Service will be held at 7:45 pm.
