August 23, 1924 - October 14, 216

Domhoff, Edward A. "Big Ed" Age 92, on Friday, October 14, 2016, formerly of Carrick.

Beloved husband of the late Josephine (Gugliuzza); loving father of Edward (Linn) Jr., Gregory (Nancy) and Diane (Carl) Schuchert; grandfather of Becky, Amber, Matthew, Alissa, Lexie (Tim) and Scott; great-grandfather of Paul, Cameron, Alaina, Haley, Colin and Cassidy; Ed was a retired City of Pittsburgh Police Officer and a proud U.S. Navy veteran, serving during World War II. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. until his Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sylvester Church at 10:00 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.

    Grandpap, You were the best grandfather and father I could have ever asked for. I promise I will tell Collin Edward why he was named after you. I have already told him many times he has very large shoes to fill. I love you so much and miss you!!! It hurts to think I will never see you again but you will always be in my heart .
