Age 92, on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, of Whitehall. Beloved husband of 62 years to the late Julia (Moryken); loving father of Kathleen Brennan Buckoski (Brian)(preceded in death by Charles K. Brennan), Linda (Minor) Shapiro, Edward F., Jr. (Monica) and Nancy (Thomas) Songer; devoted grandfather of Drew (Casey), Johnathan, Stephen, Nicholas, Alison and Dennis; brother of the late Emily Jarkiewicz, Helen Bieniek and Joseph Jarkiewicz. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Edward retired in 1990 from Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory. He was a kind, gentle man and a loving, devoted husband, father and pap. In retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and with his beloved Julia. He was a master gardener with an extensive vegetable garden. Edward was a devout catholic who enjoyed ushering at St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church. Visitation and services will be held privately. Arrangements handled by the John F. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church, 5200 Greenridge Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
