Obituary For Edward L. "Eddy" Mullee, Jr.

Age 78, peacefully and surrounded by his wife and daughters, on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, of Baldwin.

Husband of Elaine Mullee; father of Melissa Mullee of Castle Shannon and Erin Cantwell of Venetia; grandfather of Emma and Mia; brother of the late Nancy Schierberl and Jane Kaczynski. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Ed's family would like to specifically thank the doctors and staff at UPMC Shadyside Hospital. Ed loved bowling, traveling, visiting with his granddaughters... and listening to Frank Sinatra. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, March 21, 2021 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Monday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Albert the Great Church at 10:30 a.m. Masks are required and social distancing guidelines must be followed. If desired, family suggests contributions to the Hillman Cancer Center, Development, UPMC Cancer Pavilion, Suite 1B, 5150 Centre Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15232.

Uncle Eddy was a man blessed with the uncommon gifts of kindness, generosity and warmth, which he selflessly used to bring happiness into the lives of his family and friends.     Uncle Eddy was a very important person in my life. He brought joy to many, including my father. Seeing how happy Uncle Eddy made my father was a beautiful thing. Every time I visited Aunt Elaine and Uncle Eddy's house, I enjoyed catching up with him and hearing about my father and Eddy's amazing ventures. You were an amazing person and will be missed!
