September 9, 1956 - June 12, 2014

Chapon, Edward M., on Thursday, June 12, 2014 of Clarksville, PA, formerly of Holbrook, PA. Son of the late Peter J. and Rosemary (Schneider) Chapon, Sr.; brother of Marjorie (William) Malley, Pete (Lori) Chapon, Jr., Lois (Walter, Jr.) Brunner, Joseph (Linda) Chapon, Nancy (James) Seifer, Kenneth Chapon, and Maryann (Andy) MacIntyre. Also survived by 17 nieces and nephews and nine great-nieces and great-nephews. Ed was an avid hunter and outdoorsman, he worked for Traffic Control and Engineering Company and a member of Local 1058. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday from 12-2 p.m. at which time a Blessing Service will be held.

    Ed was my next door neighbor in Holbrook. After I got divorced and sold the house, I still kept in touch with him when he would come into the bank where I work. He was a great guy and I just loved asking "how are things on Bristoria Road today?" I missed seeing him after he moved. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing and my thoughts and prayers are with his family.
