September 2, 1929 - July 2, 2017

Gloeckl, Edward M. "EP", age 87, peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, July 2, 2017 of Bon Air. Beloved husband of 66 years to Ruth E. (Busko); loving father of Deborah M. (the late Richard) Powell and Gail R. Gloeckl; proud grandfather of Richard J. (Michelle) and Jennifer L. Powell (Mike Schoedel); great grandfather of Kate; son of the late Martin and Agatha Gloeckl; brother of Ruth Zeffiro, Mary Margaret Hartner, Joseph Gloeckl and the late Dolores Keeling; brother-in-law of Steve Busko. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 3-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Thursday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Parish, St. Basil Church at 10:30 a.m.
