Dear Bonnie, Michelle, Mike and extended family, We are all so sorry to hear that Ed had passed away,( he was ready such a bitter sweet end, but with such dignity), so thankful for many wonderful memories also. Even being this far away Ed will leave a huge gap. The birthday phone calls with Bonnie and Ed singing â?? I know Bonnie you will still do that, but we loved hearing Ed singing away and at the end of the song Ed would always say Happy Birthday. (From Mike) Alister said that he is sad Ed has not seen him play cricket, but is now happy because Ed will be able to watch every game and have a beer with Grandad Murray, goodness knows what he thinks goes on up thereâ?¦â?¦..Alister had received so many packages from Bonnie and Ed, and so well packed, Buzz Lightyear cereal, every toy story toy possible, and not to mention the transformers, and light up shoes, the envy of many. Shoes are worn out (of course he kept stomping so they would light up) but transformers and Toy Story still going strong and being played with by our neighbours, these toys are referred to as Bonnie and Eds toys. (from Alister) Mike recalled teaching Ed to drive on the hills up by Michelle and Mikeâ??s house, they only went out once and Ed never did drive over here, little was said by either party, and little is repeated now, except Mike remembers it vividly. On one of our visits to Pittsburgh Mike and Ed went to a baseball game and often the stadium is on television, every time Mike sees it he says Ed took him thereâ?¦â?¦â?¦â?¦I just have a couple of pictureâ??s come to mind of Ed climbing into the trunk of his new car with loads of room to spare, quad biking at Austinâ??s farm covered in mud and Ed beaming from ear to ear, there are so many of these wonderful memories. (From Mike) Ed you are and always will be the big kid we all adored, thank you for being a part of lifeâ??s, so many wonderful memories, you have been so much part of our lifeâ??s even though there were many miles betwe
