Obituary For Edward Paul Melvin, Jr.

November 18, 1979 - December 10, 2015

Melvin, Jr., Edward Paul Age 36, unexpectedly on Thursday, December 10, 2015, of Brentwood .

Beloved husband of Autumn (Verheyen); loving father of Jacob, Justin and Ella; son of the late Edward, Sr. and Joyce Melvin; also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many other loving family members. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Monday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sylvester Church at 10:00 am.

    To the family of Eddie, so sorry to read of his passing. We have many memories of his parents, blessed when Ed came into their lives. Many conversations were had over the trials and joys elementary school, etc; if you can imagine that far back. I worked with Ed's father for many years, saw Ed growing up.
