Dear Rose and family ~ Where do we begin? What a tremendous loss, the patriarch of the O'hearn family. We will miss Ed with all our hearts but our loss is surely Heavens gain. I think I will miss his South side stories the most but I know one of his most favorite memories was when Bruno Sammartino came to Rose's dad's birthday party. The smile on his face as it lit up while telling the story was entertaining to say the least. He loved his children and grandchildren as he was so proud of their accomplishments throughout their lives but the love that surpassed all others was his love for his wife Rose We were so fortunate to have him as our neighbor and he treated our Children like they were an extension of his own grandchildren You will be missed Ed, but no more suffering. You can rest now peacefully in our Lords loving arms. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire O'hearn family and may all your memories sustain you during this difficult time. Our hearts are broken because we can not say goodbye in person but you will remain in our memories until we meet again . Love Mike, Sandy, Emily, Michael and Natalie Andrews

I have lost a beloved uncle who was like an older brother to me as I grew up on the South Side. My heart aches at the thought of not seeing him, or talking to him on the phone. But memories of him, as far back as I can remember, put me at ease & make me smile. Eddie will be sorely missed, but we know he is in the presence of Our Lord, & again with his loving family. R.I.P. Sincere condolences! Larry& Family

Dearest Dad, To the most caring, loving and amazing man in the world, may your soul rest in peace, and may perpetual light shine upon you always and forever... Amen! What an honor and a privilege it was to be born your son, having you as my father, my mentor, and my shining example of what it meant to be an honorable gentleman, and a loving father myself. On behalf of me, my beautiful wife Pamela, and our angels your loving and adoring grandchildren Connor and Olivia, we will miss you with all of our hearts until we all meet again. Thank you for each and every loving memory you created for us through all of your hard work, dedication, devotion and sacrifices together with our most loving mother, your wife Rose, the most angelic parents a child could have ever wished for. We honor you this day and celebrate your life and all of your glory. What a beautiful soul you always have been and what a magnificent man we were blessed to have known. As you enter into heaven, you leave this world a better place for all of us because of who you were, and because of who you will always be. You will forever be remembered and live on in our hearts, for the love of a parent never dies, but is felt for a lifetime through the beautiful breath of life that you bestowed upon us. In closing, until we all meet again, we will eternally remain sincerely yours! Love, Kenneth D., Pamela B., Connor D. and Olivia P. O'Hearn
