Obituary For Edward Weingart

June 16, 1923 - August 14, 2015

Weingart, Edward Age 92, on Friday, August 14, 2015 of Pleasant Hills.

Husband of the late Ruth (Brillant) Weingart; father of Robert Jack Weingart, Philip Kenneth (Michelle) Weingart and Jennifer Jane Weingart "Mack Newman"; grandfather of Justice David Wiengart, Rebecca Lynn (Eoan) Farrell, Julianne Marie Weingart, Daniel Joseph Weingart and Walker Dieckman; great-grandfather of Gabriel, Gival and Starlyn; brother of Ruvin Weingart. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Edward served in the US Army during WWII and was a founding member and past president of Beth Israel Center in Pleasant Hills. He was a self employed attorney in the Pleasant Hills area. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood 15227, Wednesday from 10 - 11 a.m. at which time Funeral Services will be held.

    Grandpa was quiet around me. I remember watching t.v. on his box television, his puns printed out and left on the coffee table, enjoying his sugar-free vanilla ice cream with him on visits and so much more. He was beloved and I miss him very much.
