Gasior, Elizabeth S. Originally of Bon Air, and a proud matriarch, passed peacefully at the age of 90 on Saturday, September 23, 2017, at the Virginia residence of her namesake, Elizabeth "Betty" Soltis.

Daughter of the late Martin J. and Sophie Gasior; sister of the late Bruno Gasior. She is survived by nieces, nephews, friends and loving Pittsburgh neighbors. Betty worked as a switchboard operator for Bell Telephone from 1956-1989. She was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and loved to travel on occasion with her niece, Betty and her husband, Ed. Betty will be missed by all who knew and loved her. In her own words, she "lived a good life." Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Friday, September 29, 2017 from 4-6 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Saturday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostle Parish, St. Basil Church at 10:30 a.m.
