Obituary For Elizabeth L. "Betty" White

July 29, 1934 - May 9, 2015

White, Elizabeth L. "Betty" Age 80, on Saturday, May 9, 2015, of Carrick.

Beloved wife of the late Lawrence J. White; mother of Betty (Dan) Hane, Mary Farrell, Larry (the late Marilyn) White and Theresa (Mike) Orwell; sister of Susan Flynn, Alice Dziekan, Robert "Boots" and Peter Schanck and the late Joe, Bill, Lou and Dave Schanck. Also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by granddaughter Beth Hane. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday from 2 - 9 pm. Funeral Prayer on Tuesday Morning at 9:15 am. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Wendelin Church at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Family Hospice, 50 Moffett Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15243.
