Obituary For Elizabeth "Libby" (Rydzynski) Modispacher

Age 85, on Monday, January 5, 2026, of Whitehall.

Beloved wife of 59 years to Charles "Chuck" Modispacher; loving mother of Jeffrey and Susan Modispacher; proud Grammy of Allie Modispacher (CJ Bickus); daughter of the late Anthony J. and Elizabeth (Bach) Rydzynski; sister of Judith Fetters, Robert (Cheryl) Rydzynski and the late Anthony J. Rydzynski, Jr., Michael Rydzynski and Donna Cataldo. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh 15227 on Friday, January 9, 2026 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Saturday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, 2835 E Carson Street, Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15203 or Pittsburgh Melanoma Foundation, P.O. Box 46, Venetia, PA 15367.

    Chuck,Sue and Jeff and Allie ,i am so saddened to hear this. Ive been waiting on your family for 45 years , what a pleasure your like family. I know the end was tough just know shes in gods hands now. She will be truly missed by many.
