Obituary For Erica C. Mack

Erica Camilla Mack was born on May 17, 1988 and unexpectedly gained her wings on Monday, March 21, 2022. Erica is a 2006 graduate of Butler Area High School. She leaves behind, to mourn her loss, her father, Thomas (Michelle) Mack; mother, Thu Ngan Thi Monique Schlicht; paternal grandmother, Rosemarie Mack; maternal grandmother, Ty Thi Stoltz; and paternal grandfather, James Mack. Erica also leaves two aunts, Tamara (Donald) Guerrieri and Terri (Dave) Pazer; and one uncle, Tracy (Paula) Mack; a step-sister; step-brother; nephew; and niece; special friend, Mark Nowinski; as well as a host of many other dear friends. Erica’s dry sense of humor and the ability to cut to the chase will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched and all those who love her dearly. A light extinguished far too early. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 3-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held at 7:30 p.m.

    Erica, where do I even begin? My heart can't even take sharing all of the memories that we made in our life. Even though our adult life pulled us in different directions, you were a huge part of my life from the time we were 12 until after our college years. The amount of memories we share can't even be shared or I'll take up all of the bandwidth. From greyhound rides to Erie that our parents didn't know about, to sneaking into the fair, college parties, vacations to Texas, shopping sprees, tanning at Daniel's house daily, car rides to Ohio, straightening our hair with irons, messing with your dad and the list goes on and on and on. I loved you like my own sister. For many many years you were my sister. It breaks my heart to think that I never got a chance to say goodbye and thank you for the friendship you gave me for all of those years. I love you, Erica Camillia Mack and may you Rest In Peace forever! May Tom, Monique and family find peace. I'm so sorry for your loss.
