Obituary For Erika F. (Hellwig) Beccard

Age 93, of Baldwin, formerly of Carrick, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Tuesday, March 5, 2024.

Beloved wife of the late Alphonse J. Beccard; loving mother of Alphonse (Denise) of McDonald, Kevin (MaryJean) of Lusby, MD and Susan (Ken) of Brentwood; proud grandmother of Erika, Sylvia (Will), Amanda (David), Kaitlain (Brett) and Sarah (Joe). Also survived by three great-grandchildren. Erika dedicated her life to her family in the most loving way. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 4-8 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 in Concordia Lutheran Church at 11:00 a.m. Everyone please meet at church. If desired, family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer's Association - Greater Pennsylvania Chapter, 2835 E Carson St Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.

    Dear Susan and family, very unexpectedly we received the sad news about Erika's death while Gabi is with me here in Kiel. We felt extremely sorry about it and want to send you our sympathy. Erika was like Anneliese the centre of the family clan in America. We remember wonderful days we spent together and will keep Ricky in good memory. There is a gap now and we will miss her. We are thinking of you Gabi and Käthe
