Age 88, on Monday, August 10, 2020, of Brentwood, formerly of South Side.

Beloved husband of 42 years to the late Gilda (Rami) Miskiewicz; loving father of Mark Miskiewicz, Matthew (Sharon) Miskiewicz, Michael (Rebecca) Miskiewicz and Maria (John) Kress; devoted Dzia-Dzia to Luke Miskiewicz, Mitchell Kress, Macy Miskiewicz, Carson Kress and Maliah Miskiewicz. Ernest is a veteran of the Korean War where he served as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. Ernest worked for the H.J. Heinz Company for 26 years. Family and close friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from 5-8 p.m. where a funeral prayer will be held on Thursday morning at 9:45. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Wendelin Church at 10:30 a.m.
