Obituary For Ernest M. "Ernie" Caster, Jr.

Age 77, passed peacefully surrounded by family, on Thursday, July 24, 2025, of Sewickley, formerly of Brentwood.

Dearly loved husband of Elaine (Kohut) Caster; dedicated father of Lisa (Robert) Bochter and the late Steve Kohut; brother of Denise C. Caster, Jeffrey A. (Lori Ellis) Caster and Brian T. (Luise) Caster. Also survived by nephews Nick Caster, Ross Caster and close family friend, Lorri (Brian) Collett. Ernie loved to hate the Steelers. He enjoyed spending his time playing pool, cards and listening to Pink Floyd. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday from 2-7 p.m., where a funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to South Hills Pet Rescue, 15 Old 88, South Park Township, PA 15129.
