Obituary For Eugene E. Mitchell

July 20, 1951 - April 30, 2015

Mitchell, Eugene E. Age 63, after a hard fought battle with cancer, on Thursday, April 30, 2015, of Whitehall.

Beloved husband of 46 years to Joyce; father of Sandra Mitchell, Gene Mitchell and Michele (Damar) Williams; grandfather of Timothy, Brittany, Joseph, Sierra, Ladashia, Deanaya, Dominick, Aaliyah, Sydni, Carlie and Damar, Jr.; great-grandfather of Saionnia; brother of Richard Mitchell. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gabriel of The Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10:00 am. If desired, family suggests contributions to American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.

    Eugene was a one of a kind man that I got the pleasure to know threw his children and grandchildren...he will be missed greatly...but know that he is in a better place watching down on everyone that he cares for...heaven just received an amazing guardian Angel...I love you Sandra Mitchell and you and your family will always be in my heart forever and always...
