Beloved husband of 53 years to Marlene M. Egers; loving father of Karen (Ron) DuScheid, Barbara (the late Eugene) Giegucz and Michele (Paul) Gentile; proud grandfather of Ryan (Erica) Giegucz, Ronnie (Michelle) DuScheid, Geoffrey Giegucz, Daniel (Mary Potosnak) DuScheid, Victoria (Jeremy) Willman and P.J. Gentile; great-grandfather of Kaelee DuScheid and Bennett Willman; brother of Jack (Kathleen) Egers and the late Nora Jean Taylor; son of the late Eugene and Verna Egers; also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, and friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held on Wednesday morning at 11.
