At the age of 85, on Sunday, June 25, 2017.

Beloved wife of the late Mario A. Ruta; loving mother of Mari Lynn Murphy (Patrick), Debra J. Yasko (Glenn), Scott Ruta (Donna) and Ami Kennedy; wonderful grandmother of Nikki (Tony), Jaime (Branden), Anthony and Matthew Yasko, Breanna, Trevor and Alexis Ruta, Olivia and Erika; great-grandmother of Mason, Zackary, Braelynn and Keegan. She was the daughter of Millie Sager and grew up on the North Side of Pittsburgh. She enjoyed and loved all of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. We will miss her dearly. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 Monday 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.. Funeral Prayer on Wednesday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Stephen Church at 10:30 a.m..
