April 26, 2018 - September 23, 2018Bucci, Evelyn L. (Ragnelli) Age 100, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 23, 2018, formerly of Whitehall.

Beloved wife of the late Louis; beloved mother of Evelyn (the late Ronald) Boyle, Lois (Paul) Schwarzmiller and Christine (Thomas) Hockswender; beloved grandmother of Louis (Amy) Boyle, Ron (Sheila) Boyle, Cathy (Jim) Werner, Paul (Sharon) Schwarzmiller, Tom (Shannon) Hockswender, Susan (Larry) Wydrenski and Gary (Meghan) Schwarzmiller; beloved great-grandmother of Katie, Jimbo, Owen, Michael, Olivia, David, Wesley, Tessa, Ella, Mia and Paul; daughter of the late Romolo and Rose Marie Ragnelli; sister of the late Jane D'Amico Trusky, Julia Casciato, Attilio, Arthur, Diomede and Anthony Ragnelli. Evelyn lived for and loved her family, and she was happiest when spending time with them. She also loved to play cards with her good friends at Canongate Apartments. She never missed sending birthday or special occasion cards to her family and friends. Evelyn's family would like to thank all of the nurses and aides at Allegheny Health Network Healthcare @Home and Atria Senior Living for taking such good care of her. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Thursday, September 27, 2018, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Friday morning at 9:45 am. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church at 10:30 am.

    Evelyn, Lois, Christine and your families. My sincere sympathy to you all. My fondest memories are of all the wonderful times I had when I visited Aunt Evelyn and Uncle Louie at their home. I hope Aunt Evelyn's life was filled with happiness and joy. Sincerely, Vince Mainier
