Obituary For Federico DePasquale

Born on November 29, 1936, in Gamberale, Abruzzo, Italy and immigrated to Pittsburgh at the age of 17. Son of the late Domenico and Maria (Camilla) DePasquale. Beloved husband of Connie (DeMarco) DePasquale for 62 years; proud father of Mary-Theresa (Alan) Popa, Domenic (Karen) DePasquale and Fred (Christine) DePasquale; adored Pap of Nico, Gabriella, Domenic, Victoria and Joseph. His is survived by his loving sister-in-law, Donna (the late Domenic) Bucci and was preceded in death by his dear brothers, Roberto (Guiseppina) and Donato (Iolanda) DePasquale. Federico and his brothers lived the American Dream of owning a business, DePasquale Brothers Construction Company. He will be sadly missed by many loving nieces and nephews. A longtime member of San Lorenzo di Gamberale Club. Fred was proud of his Italian heritage and he enjoyed playing bocce, making wine and sharing bowls of homemade pasta with his family. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Wednesday, December 13, 2023, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Funeral Prayer on Thursday morning at 9:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Teresa Kolkata Parish at St. Pius X Church at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, kindly make donations to the Alzheimer's Association, 2835 E Carson Street, Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15203, www.alz.org/pa.
