Obituary For Frances R. Hunter

Age 92, passed peacefully on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, of Baldwin Borough.

Wife of the late Richard T. Hunter; mother of Richard T. Hunter and the late William Scott Hunter; beloved aunt of Robert J. (Karen) Kazmierczak, Beth Ann (the late Thomas) Klos and the late Barry Kazmierczak; great aunt of Robert (Sheila), Joanna (David), John (Larissa), Adam, Elizabeth and Brandon (Monica) Kazmierczak. Frances worked as a Certified Nurses Aide at Kane, McKeesport Hospital. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday, May 12, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m.

    Jeanne Hemma Latshaw

    Rick, my family lived next door to yours in the '60s and early '70s. In a neighborhood of mostly boys, I was kind of lost, but your mom was always nice to me. She spent time with me and taught me how to crochet. She made a lacey gown for my Barbie doll, and fixed an Afghan that our dog chewed on. I liked her very much, and I'm sorry for your loss.

    mom, i wish i could have done more for you. i tried my best taking care of you. i hope your at peace with dad ,scott and all the dogs and rabbits we had over the years. you will be missed down here. but i know i will have a "angel"(you) watching over me. love rick!
