I served with Frank @ Camp LeJeune N.C from 12-63 to 4-65 in the 106 mm Recoilless Rifle Platoon Second Battalion, Sixth Marine Regiment (2-6) Frank, also known as "Ski" & AJ (Short for AJ Squared Away) was arguably our best gunner out of 8. I saw him demolish empty ammo crates (40" x 14") @ 600 meters numerous times. Frank was a bit more serious than others & was respected by all. An all around good guy & a Very Proud Marine. Very sorry to hear of his passing. I have a few photos of Frank from a Med cruise we took in 1964. Semper Fi good buddy, Ken Moran Mentor, Ohio Posted 5-10-21
