The "old" Five Town Ambulance Service would have never been such a success without Gary!!!!!! I was one of the people LUCKY enough to have been trained by the wonderful knowledgeable, compassionate patient Gary Cox. I was always relieved when I got on the rig and Gary was there - and anytime anything "really bad" happened, my first instinct was "Call Gary". He was very special - it never was "just a job" to him. He never made us trainees feel in adequate - but always gave us reassurance.....I have tears in my eyes looking at his picture. I think I was a better EMT/Paramedic because of him. I'm glad to have been one of his students - he will be missed! Wilma

Dear Nancy and family, I am so sorry to see this. I will pray for you to be lifted up and comforted by your memories. Gary was a funny, loving person who we all will miss. I'll always remember the fun we had at MAS and how good you both were to me when I moved to West Mifflin. I spoke to him a few weeks ago and he was the same old Gary. I'm so glad to have known him. Sincerely, Nancy (Lencio) O'Neill
