February 4, 1956 - July 29, 2018

Rodgers, Gary D. Age 62, on Sunday, July 29, 2018, of Overbrook.

Beloved husband of 42 years to Mary K. (Kirsch) Rodgers; loving father of Kenneth W. (Jeannette) and Scott T. (Jessica); proud Pap Pap of Kayla, Cameron, Meghan, Jaxson, Macie and Cooper; loving son of Ceceilia Kaczynski and the late Robert Rodgers; brother of the late Robert and Dennis Rodgers. Gary served in the U.S. Marine Corps, worked as a steel worker for LTV for 28 years, and then for Miller Auto Parts for over five years. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Wednesday, August 1, 2018, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Thursday morning at 11:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sylvester Church at Noon.

    Mary I'm so sorry for your loss. It was a great shock to me to hear of Gary's passing. He was such a wonderful man. You and your family will be in my prayers.
