Omg. I just found this out last week when my father told me. It's not Aug. 2021. My father Lloyd Bridges of Northern Ky served in Marine Corp with Gary. Gary was a big Pittsburgh Steelers fan & would come & stay at our house & go to the Bengals/Steelers game in Cincinnati. Gary was such a wonderful man. I remember years ago I was working at the Heinz plant for a few days & met up with Gary n his son for a small dinner & Gary had me stay at his home instead of a hotel. Then he drove me to the plant in morning. I was floored when I heard news. My family had no idea until after his passing or we definitely would've been there. Just want to send my families prayers to Gary's family & want u to know my family loved Gary & he was always welcome in are home. God Bless u all. From Florence Ky. Lloyd, Kathy & Aaron Bridges.

I was sharing with my wife and kids about what Uncle Gary meant to me and the memories that I have of him...the many visits to Cola, S.C. , him allowing me to highlight his amazing hair, seeing cousin Cal after going to the super bowl, rides in the stingray and 3 wheelers, staying at his home, hanging out with him at the karaoke bar and many others. However one of the most memorable of all is how he checked in on our family and consistently called my mom on regular basis long after the passing of my father to genuinly see how we where doing and to make sure that we were taken care of. Uncle Gary loved so well and gave what he had with no reserves. Iâ??m so blessed that I had the opportunity to have such a great Uncle who walked out loving people and serving others so well.
