Obituary For Gemma M. Owens

July 29, 1933 - December 21, 2018

Owens, Gemma M. (Kramer) Age 85, peacefully on Friday, December 21, 2018, of Castle Shannon.

Loving wife of 64 years to George J. Owens; beloved mother of George J. (Robin), Jeffrey J., Victor J. (Colleen), and Lenore M. Owens. Proud Nan to 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; sister of Rose Cillo, predeceased by 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Friends will be received on Sunday from 3 - 8 p.m. at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227. Funeral Prayer on Monday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sylvester Church at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Vitas Hospice, Mackenzie Way, #110, Cranberry, PA 16066.

I just flew to Houston TX to spend Christmas with my sons, James & Frank and my granddaughter Eden & grandson Duke. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
