September 19, 1921 - August 27, 2015

DiGnazio, Genevieve M. "Jean" Age 94, on Thursday, August 27, 2015, of South Park, formerly of Mt. Oliver.

Beloved wife of 71 years to John N. DiGnazio; loving father of Harry (Judy), Frank (Kellie), Carol Kontul and John (Karen); cherished grandmother "Bogie" of Lisa (Bryan), Jillian, Cory, Elle, Frank (Tracy), Nikki (Kolby), Philip, Justin, Christian, John and Isabella; proud great-grandmother of Natalie, Rebecca, Bryn and Piper; sister of the late Art, "Gin", Norman "Doc" Nieder, Leona Loveland, Mae Glowacki, Dolores Holt and Madge Sieger; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and special friends Janet and JoAnne. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Monday morning at 11:15. Mass of Christian Burial in Nativity Catholic Church at 12:00 pm.. Entombment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. If desired, family suggests contributions to Nativity Church, 5811 Curry Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.

    To the family, I was sorry to read about the death of your dear loved one. Death is very difficult to deal with. May God's words at Revelation 21:4 God "will wipe out. every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." bring you and your family some comfort knowing that according to God's promise our loved ones will never have to be part from us.
