Beloved husband of 61 years to Mary Margaret Short; brother of the late Alice Ball and Jean Sinclair; brother-in-law of Edward (Kitty) Curley, William (Margaret) Curley and the late Joseph (survived by Lois) Curley; loving uncle of Jack (Marion) Harrington, Edward, Jr. (Paula) Curley, Cathy (Jeff) Boismier and other nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Funeral Prayer on Tuesday Morning at 9:15 am. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gabriel of The Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10:00 am.
