O'Brien, George P. Age 85, on Saturday, January 10, 2015, formerly of Brentwood.

Beloved husband of 61 years to Catherine (Burke); father of James (Mary Beth), Kevin (Susan), Jeffrey (Sharon), Mark, Lori and the late Kathleen O'Brien; grandfather of Jeffrey, Edward, Brendan, Sean, Shawna (Ryan), Jacquelyn, Caitlin, Owen and the late Richard; great-grandfather of Giuliana and Traesen; brother of the late John O'Brien; uncle of Carol Ann (Tim) and John (Debbie). George was a Korean War Veteran. He loved music and singing and was a long-time member of South Hills Chorale and St. Wendelin's Choir. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Thursday from 3-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Friday morning at 11:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Church at 12:30 pm.
