Brunner, George T. "Butch"

Age 91, on Thursday, April 10, 2014 of Whitehall, formerly of Brentwood.

Beloved husband of 57 years to Millie (Farkas) Brunner; loving father of Kathi (Kent) Musgrave, Don (Joyce) Brunner, Michael (Susan) Brunner, Nancy (Paco) Farach, Gary (Lynn) Brunner, Cari (Todd) Tudor, Joanne (Don) Kosslow, Susie (Tim) DeBacco and Joe (Letty) Brunner; cherished grandfather of 21 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Preceded in death by parents George and Clara Brunner and brother Charles Brunner. George was an accountant at US Steel for 35 years. He was a long time parishioner, usher, Eucharistic Minister and volunteer of St. Sylvester's Parish. Loved his family, church, bowling and watching sports (especially Pitt). Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral prayer on Monday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sylvester Church at 10:00 a.m.
