George William Jones, age 79, on Monday, December 23, 2024, of Baldwin.

Beloved husband of the late Nancy; son of the late George and Sue Jones; survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A self-proclaimed font of useless information. George was a walking encyclopedia of music, Hollywood and politics. He was a longtime member of Concordia Lutheran Church where he served as an elder and an usher. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, December 29, 2024 from 1-3 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home at 3:00 p.m.
