Age 88, of Baldwin, on Monday, May 13, 2024.

Beloved husband of 64 years to Claire; son of the late Paul and Elizabeth; youngest of 13 children; devoted father of Steven (Lily), Brian (Pamela), Kenneth and the late infant Maureen; proud Pappy of Dana, Joseph, Michael, John, Benjamin (Isabel); brother of the late Elizabeth Lang, Margaret Wuenschell, Salome Carlin, Dolores James, Paul, Mildred Novak, Rose Kacerik, James,Thomas, Robert, Lucille Mandarino and Donald; survived by his sister-in-law, Betty Breisinger. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Jerry had a strong Catholic faith. A man of few words, Jerry preferred to lead by example and his actions. He was a person of great stamina and immense physical, spiritual, and moral strength. He enjoyed family vacations, hunting, fishing, pitching horseshoes, all sports, and playing his harmonica. Jerry retired from PA American Water Company with 40 years of service. He was a member of the Drifting Hunting Camp.

Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 2-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Albert the Great Church at 10:30 a.m. Everyone please meet at church.
