Husband of Marie "Sue" (Shaw) Hugney for 41 years; father of Sean P. Hugney; grandfather of Brenna Prelick and Sean P. Hugney, Jr.; son of the late Patricia Morgan Hugney; brother of Patricia (Jeff) Cieslak, Douglas Hugney and Dianna (the late Butch) Doerschner; also survived by nieces and nephews and best friends Ray Kain and Patrick Joyce. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Friday from 1-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held at 8 p.m.
