Obituary For Gertrude C. Gilboy

March 2, 1916 - August 4, 2014

Gilboy, Gertrude C. Age 98, born in New Castle, PA, formerly of Mt. Lebanon, on Monday, August 4, 2014.

Remembered with love by daughters, Rose Marie (Richard) Mallik and Mary Grace (Robert) Boyle; also 16 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, William P. Gilboy, Sr.; sons and daughters-in-law, Bill (Darlene) Gilboy and James (Judy) Gilboy; daughters, Penny Affolter and Christine Gilboy; and grandchildren, Kelly Boyle and Dan Gilboy. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood 15227, Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Thursday morning at 9:00.     I am sorry to hear of Gertrude's passing. She was a sweet lady who was such good friends with my mother. If friends get together in heaven, I am certain they are doing so! My sympathy to your family.
