December 10, 1961 - April 22, 2018

Facchiano, Sr., Giovanni G. "John" Age 56, peacefully surrounded by his family, on Sunday, April 22, 2018, of Pittsburgh.

Beloved husband of 29 years to Jane A. (Demblowski); proud father of Giovanni, Michala, Michael and Gianna Facchiano; son of Michael, Sr. and the late Antoinetta Facchiano; brother of Michael (Gail), Michelle (Rosario) Mutarelli and the late Mary Jean (survived by Giuseppe) Casamassa; uncle of Rosaria, Vince, Joe, Giavanna, Alexia, Michael, III, Matteo and Santino; also will be missed by the Demblowski, Henry and Valent Families, cousins, friends and co-workers. John graduated from Point Park with a degree in civil engineering and was dedicated to his family business, Michael Facchiano Contracting. John worked in every capacity in his business from laborer all the way to Co-Vice President. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Wednesday and Thursday from 3-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Friday morning at 9:30. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Parish in St. Wendelin Church at 10:30 a.m.

Heaven received another angel this week and John was loved so much by my family especially my Dad. I know he feels like he lost another little brother.
