Mitko, Gloria Julia Farley

On Wednesday, March 19, 2014, of Potter Twp.

Wife of the late Michael S. Mitko; mother of Vicki (Norman) Maiers, Stephen Farley, James Farley, Colleen (Joseph) DeStephan and the late Dennis Farley; stepmother of Robert Mitko, Michael Mitko, Stacey Vigilotti and Tracey Kampian; grandmother of Amie Lostetter, Kimberly Maiers, Anthony DeStephan, Stacey Marrone, Nicole Pro, Joseph Farley, Amanda Farley and Abby Boulanger; great-grandmother of Dylan Catenese. Gloria was dedicated to her nursing career and proud of her commitment to work with adolescent and teenage children. She was also known as Grandma G. and Mom to everyone. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Friday from 4-8 p.m., where a blessing service will be held at 8:00 p.m.

    Dear Family, My heart is breaking at Gloria's passing. We miss her and Mike SO much! I am sorry but Bob and I are uable to attend the visitation, but please know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. We will be making a donation to the Beaver County Humane Society in Gloria's memory because of her love and sympathy for the homeless animals. Sincerely, Linda Doughty
