  Rice Darell

  My deepest sympathy to you and your family. As a co-worker, I can only say that she was someone who was special and always had a big smile on her face that would make you smile when you saw her or talked to her. She was there for a good morning wish on the elevator, as much as she was there to go out of her way to help a new employee fit in by taking time to explain things, or to help a manager solve a problem.   Dear Bernie, Caroline and Michelle. Gloria was one of my trainers when I started at the IRS. And quit the capable trainers she was! 16 years later and every time I say "well generally......" I think of her (since those are her words coming out of my mouth!!). Amazingly, she could talk almost as much as me (and not too many folks can say that). And she laughed about as much as I do too (if not more)! Once she shared that she loved setting a beautiful table for holidays...with all the fancy china included in each table setting. At some time in the distant future, you ladies will have to divide up those dishes and glasses and flatware and serving pieces. I hope each of you take some of those items and use them in your own holiday table settings It will be like having your mom there for ages to come!! And may peace be with you

  Gloria was a wonderful person and a great co-worker. I worked with her for many years at the IRS and she always had a smile on her face. Always laughing! And she always took time out of her day to talk and make sure I was OK. I will miss her laugh and smile. My condolences to the family.

  Dear Bernie, Caroline, and Michelle, Such heartbreaking news to learn of Gloria's passing. She was a wonderful lifelong friend!! I had the pleasure to share in many play dates and activities with Gloria and the "Mother's Center of the Jersey Shore" when the girls were little. Heaven welcomes its newest angel!   Gloria was one of my favorite people at work. She was always kind & upbeat. She never failed to ask how I was or ask about my family. We shared many "mom" stories as she was caring for her mother the same time I was caring for mine, and we talked about our daughters, our dogs, & hockey, too. From those conversations, I know how much she adored her family & loved her little doggie. Gloria was compassionate & caring. I remember how sincere she was in congratulating me when she learned I planned to retire. I will always cherish the memories I have of this wonderful woman, and I can only imagine the many beautiful memories she has given to her family & everyone who knew & loved her. God grant you all peace.
