December 1, 1926 - April 23, 2015

Hinch, Harry H. Age 88, on Thursday, April 23, 2015 of Whitehall.

Beloved husband of the late Emma Ruth (Eber); loving father of John H., Jeffrey L., Robert A. (Rachel) and the late Harry W. Hinch; father-in-law of Katherine A. Hinch; proud grandfather of Harry W. (Megan), Linda M. (John) Hensberger, Laura E., Alison N. and Emily R. Hinch; great-grandfather of Emma, Jack and Lillian; brother of Lois (Louis) Backes. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood 15227, Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am.

    Dear Hinch family: I am so sorry to have read of your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences. I would like to share something that I have personally found to be comforting when I have lost a loved one. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21:4. These verses tell us that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our loved ones as well as do away with all causes we have for suffering, including sickness and death. Knowing this has always comforted me and given me hope. It is my wish that these thoughts will comfort you in this difficult time.
