Obituary For Helen D. Brophy

October 24, 1944 - August 2, 2016

Brophy, Helen D., Age 71, on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, of Grove City, formerly of Carrick.

Loving mother of Robbin (Mike) Rihel and Mark (Julie) Brophy; devoted grandmother of Mallory Rihel, Megan and Coilin Brophy; daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Klein) Brophy; sister of Mary Lou Brophy, Charles (Donna) Brophy, Kathleen (the late James) Clapperton, Kevin Brophy and the late Jack Brophy; sister-in-law of Ulgana "Lana" Brophy. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Helen was a Respiratory Therapist with UPMC Presbyterian and retired with over 20 years of service. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with a blessing service held at 4:00 p.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to National Multiple Sclerosis Society - PA Keystone Chapter, 1501 Reedsdale St., Ste. 105, Pittsburgh, PA 15233.
