Hope and husband Walter have been passionate fans and supporters of Pitt athletics for over 60 years and she is one of only two women in history who have received an honorary varsity letter from the Pitt Varsity Letter Club. The most wonderful thing about Hope was that she was a beautiful person both inside and out. She was warm and welcoming to all. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the Bielich family during this difficult time.

My husband Dave would travel to NYC with the basketball team to see them in the tournament there quite a few times. Mr. Bielich would remember him going there.

My deepest sympathy to Mr. Bielich and the family. I grew up with them in Baldwin and then they moved to Bethel Park. I would see them occasionally. Mrs. Bielich was a nice , soft spoken woman. She always had a smile on her face. She will be missed dearly.

Norma and family, Aggie told me of your mom's unexpected death. Although I never met Hope, Pat, Aggie, and Blair have often told me what a wonderful person she was. They often spoke of the wonderful times they had with Hope and Walter at the Pitt sporting events. My family and I are so sorry for your loss.
