Obituary For Howard F. Vetterly

Age 84, of Pittsburgh, passed away suddenly in his home on Sunday, July 19, 2020.

Howard is survived by his wife, Gail Vetterly; his children, Robert Hamer, Pam Hamer, and Jayne Neel; brother Jack Vetterly; sister Clara Beahr; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Predeceased by his father, James Vetterly; his mother, Edna Hill; his brothers, James Vetterly, Harry Vetterly, George Vetterly; and sisters Alice Carlick and Edna Bertram. Howard was a devoted husband and active member of the church and local community. He served his country as a paratrooper for the US Army in the Korean War. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all that knew him. For visitation and service information, please call the John F.     Uncle Howard came home on leave and brought a doll which was bigger than I was. It was a surprise for myself and grandma because she wasn't expecting him.
