Wife of the late Edward T. Doyle; loving mother of Thomas (Linda), Dennis (Linda), Barbara (Arthur) Burgess, John (Janet), Lawrence (Laura), Joseph (Lisa); grandmother of 13; great-grandmother of two. Renee was fun-loving; enjoyed gardening and collecting antiques and knick-knacks, but most of all enjoyed a good laugh and spending time with family and friends. As a 50-year member of Church of the Resurrection, Renee was involved in many volunteer activities throughout the years and resided at Creedmoor Court until her untimely death. Renee was a long-time employee of South Hills Animal Hospital where she shared her love, compassion, and devotion to animals. She was a wonderful mother, a friend to many, and will be deeply missed by all of us! Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood 15227, Sunday from 6-8 pm and Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral Prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:00. Mass of Christian Burial in Church of the Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a monetary donation in Renee's name to the animal shelter of your choice.
