Wise, Iris Mae (Headley), age 88, on Monday, September 7, 2015, formerly of Whitehall. Beloved wife of the late Russell C., Jr.; mother of Judith W. (R. Edward, Jr.) Shuster and Russell C., III (Nancy); proud grandmother of Meredith L. Shuster, Julia R. (Rene) Shuster, Aaron Russell (Leila) Wise and Carrie E. Wise; great-grandmother of Russell Anthony Shuster and Juliana Mae Shuster and soon to be baby Wise; sister of the late Gordon R. Headley( Ruth), Daniel H. Headley, Jr.( Agnes) and Belva Jane Brest (L. Leroy); sister-in-law of Robert (Sonya) Wise and the late Richard (Susan) Wise; also affectionately known as Aunt Iris to many loving nieces and nephews. Iris was a long-time member of Baldwin Community United Methodist Church and other civic and church organizations. She loved her family and enjoyed many friendships. She also belonged to many bridge clubs and enjoyed volunteering, traveling, beach vacations, movies and theater. Friends and family are invited for lunch and fellowship at 12:15 pm on October 4, 2015 at Baldwin Community United Methodist Church, 5001 Baptist Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. A memorial service will follow at 1:15 p.m. Arrangements made by John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100.
