Roman, James A. Age 92, on Sunday, March 8, 2015, of Whitehall formerly of Elizabeth.

James was born on September 28, 1922. He was the beloved husband of the late Mildred (Roscoe) Roman. James served with the US Navy in the South Pacific during WW II and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1810 in Brentwood. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday 5 - 8 pm. Funeral Prayer on Tuesday morning at 11:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sylvester Church at 11:30 am.
