Marshall, James B. Age 94, on Friday, May 26, 2017, of Pleasant Hills.

Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth "Betty" Kerr (McQuaide) Marshall; loving father of Linda Dudik of Pleasant Hills and Jamie Marshall (Zonice) of Nokomis, FL; grandfather of Chris (Anina) Dudik, Jonathan (James Meacci) Dudik, Tyler Swanson and Tory Swanson; preceded in death by his beloved son-in-law, Duane Dudik. Jim was a Navy veteran of WWII serving on a cruiser in the Pacific theater. He was a lifetime member of the Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church and had previously served as an elder in the Church. Jim was devoted to his family and his church. The family wants to express their gratitude to the entire staff of Jefferson Hospital for the excellent, professional and compassionate care given to Jim during his final days. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral will be held on Wednesday at Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church at 10 a.m. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. In lieu of flowers, Jim had requested that donations be made to the Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church, 199 Old Clairton Rd., Pgh., PA 15236.
