Obituary For James C. Kelly

Age 73, peacefully at home and surrounded by his loving family and friends in his final moments on Thursday, September 5, 2024, of Baldwin Boro.

Beloved husband of 50 years to Margie Kelly; loving and devoted father of J.J. (Amanda) Kelly, Maureen (Thomas) Siegfried and Erin Richards; proud "Pup" of Nolan, Myles, Brody, Carson, Reese and Stella; son of the late Clarence and Beverly Kelly; brother of the late Linda Kelly; brother-in-law of Joan (the late Don) Lee, Ruth Ann (Joe) Quinn, Ray (the late Kathy) Netzel and Alice (Larry) Forgacs. Also survived and missed by Bill (Roseann) Barger, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

James was a man of immense humor and wisdom, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones. He was generous and loving and well-known for his love and devotion to friends and family. He loved his oldies music, his tools and working in the garage. James enjoyed woodworking, making picnic tables and benches and completing other household projects.

Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, September 8, 2024 from 2-7 p.m. Funeral prayer on Monday at 9:00. Mass of Christian Burial in Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Elizabeth Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held privately.
