Beloved husband of the late Gale P. Buchert Tinklepaugh; father of two, step-father of three and grandfather of many. Jim was a distinguished U.S. Veteran and retired as a Deputy Sheriff while residing in Florida. Jim will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Thursday, January 7, 2016, from noon until 2 p.m. at which time a Blessing Service will be held. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to your local veterans group.
